First taste of the high life at Esperance
This is the stunning real life view from the top floors of Esperance!
Reside Communities CEO Glen Brown (pictured above) – along with some of our first residents - checked out the vista aboard an eight-storey high cherry picker as part of our official sod-turning ceremony today.
And what a panorama!
Taking in sweeping views over the water, Hope Island Golf Course and across the Coast, the ambience from the apartments in the first of Esperance’s four buildings - Esprit - will be seriously hard to match.
It is little wonder that it’s selling out quickly. As well as many of its 76 apartments, all of the $1 million-dollar plus penthouses and sub-penthouses have been snapped up – reflecting the strong demand for luxurious retirement options on the Coast.
The cherry picker played a key role in today’s ceremony, which involved directors from our funding and development partner GreenFort Capital as well as FDC Construction.
TV crews from Seven and Nine were on hand to capture the action, with 7News even filming part of their report aboard the boom lift at full extension.
For downsizers Phil and Di Bartlett, it gave them a first-hand experience of the scenery they will soon be enjoying every day from their new apartment.
Among the first buyers, they wanted to take full advantage of the outlook over the water.
“We always wanted an apartment with a view,” said Mr Bartlett, a former South Australian dairy farmer who has spent most of life on a family property overlooking the Murray River.
“It’s one of the things that attracted us to Esperance, along with its convenience to everything. It’s close to beautiful golf facilities and all amenities are within walking distance.”
What’s in the first stage
The first stage will feature 76 apartments ranging from spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom residences to spectacular three-bedroom penthouses with sweeping water and island views. Prices start at $550,000.
Luxury kitchens, open plan living, generous balconies or courtyards, separate laundries and walk-in robes are all standard while many apartments also have media rooms and study nooks.
Exclusive recreation amenities will include a cinema, bar, café, library, private function and dining rooms, and outdoor barbecue and entertaining spaces.
Health and wellbeing will be well catered for with an indoor therapy-focused swimming pool, indoor/outdoor resort-style pool, gym, yoga and Pilates studio, hair and beauty salon, health and wellness spaces, and outdoor exercise lawns for activities such as yoga and tai chi.
