Meet the new faces of Esperance Hope Island
To ensure future residents have a first-class lifestyle experience that supports their next chapter in retirement, we are welcoming two new team members, Lifestyle Concierge, Daniel Garland and Resident Services Officer, Tarnya Field.

To ensure future residents have a first-class lifestyle experience that supports their next chapter in retirement, we are welcoming two new team members, Lifestyle Concierge, Daniel Garland and Resident Services Officer, Tarnya Field.
Daniel may be new to the retirement living industry, but he is certainly no stranger to hospitality and the concierge role, bringing with him his genuine commitment to 5-star-service.
Previously working as Chief Concierge at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Daniel will be pivotal in establishing a best-in-class service at Esperance, building relationships and supporting the needs of residents.
“As the Lifestyle Concierge, I will be assisting and supporting residents to live a healthy and active lifestyle, being their point of contact for everything lifestyle from arranging, internal and external events as well as building emotional connections,” said Daniel.
“Across my role, I will also be forging strategic partnerships with local business and the external community, healthcare, restaurants, exercise professionals, tour operators and transfer services.
“I’m most passionate about getting to know our future residents, listening to people’s stories about life and their experiences. At Esperance, we are taking retirement living and turning it on its head, giving residents a 5-star luxury service. From amazing food and beverage offering to the openness of the podium and gardens, Esperance is on another level.”
Esperance’s Resident Services Officer, Tarnya Field, is bringing a wealth of administrative and customer service experience, not to mention she even made a cup of tea for Celine Dion!
“I’m very excited to be part of the Esperance team, bringing an unparallel, 5-star service experience to retirement living on the Gold Coast,” said Tarnya.
“As the Resident Services Officer, I will be the first point of contact for welcoming and assisting residents and guests to enjoy Esperance’s services, care, activities and facilities.
“Being a people person, I look forward to building relationships with our residents to ensure that they enjoy their independence, however, know I’m always happy to assist when needed.”
