Out and about with Esperance Escapes!

Residents keep active exploring local places of interest

November 1, 2024

It’s all systems go for residents venturing out and about with Esperance Escapes.

The popular tour experience, which operates solely for Esperance Residents and is run by our dedicated Lifestyle Concierge, has included trips to Tweed Valley Art Gallery, O’Reilly’s Vinyard and Alpaca Farm combined with O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat, as well as an outing to see Tina: The Tina Turner Musical at Brisbane’s Queensland Performing Art Gallery.

With so much to enjoy in the local area, it’s no wonder Esperance Escapes is such a big hit!

Tweed Valley Art Gallery is located an hour’s drive from Esperance and was a great day out for art lovers. After looking at the paintings on display, residents were dropped at the beautiful Rainbow Bay Beach, where they enjoyed a leisurely stroll around the Oceanway path towards Greenmount and tucked into a delicious lunch at the Greenmount Surf Club.

Who doesn’t love a day out in Lamington National Park?

The alpaca farm is 45 minutes from Esperance and has recently undergone a revamp, offering visitors an enhanced experience. Residents were able to walk and feed the alpacas while also taking in the winery and restaurant.

After the petting session, the group travelled further up the mountain to O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. The park celebrated 100 years in 2015 and has continued to be an attraction for adventurers and keen walkers. It is now managed by the third generation of O’Reillys, who are responsible for the management of the retreat, villa and campground precinct.

If these pictures are anything to go by, there was plenty of fun for all involved!
